Today was a test – the puppy had to go to the vet. I took Mum for a semi-routine cardiac appointment at the hospital. The cardiac nurse went “omg” and sent her to the emergency dept. They went “omg” and transferred her by ambulance to Base Hospital 1 1/2 hours away. Then she spent over 5 hours in the emergency dept before being sent to the ward. She’s exhuasted and so am I.
But the commitment remains unbroken – even if it is another scrapbook page to relax with.
