This ANZAC day I spoke at the Waverley RSA service, which was a privilege. As always, I remember with love my Dad, Mansel Barker, and Dad 2 Jack Robinson (my best friend Sandra Robinson’s Dad). I also acknowledge the loss of so many ANZACs overseas, and am grateful our Dads came home.
You are obviously a well respected and valued part of the community Cath, Nice to read your post. And well done on speaking, it’s not easy!

Here in the U.S. we don’t learn about ANZAC Day (at least not in my era) and recently read a wonderful article in “Archaeology” (April-May issue). Such brave men in a tragic situation, but never faltering. Amazing.
