I really like painting hills, so this view of distant hills in Wellington was not to be missed…
And back into abstraction. Working from a watercolour that was loosely based on an aerial photograph of some islands surrounded by sea.

And we’re into spring, with its warm reds and browns.
Nope, they are not all making it into the International Collage exchange; some are going onto the reject pile. Not sure where bad collages go yet…
I seem a bit obsessed with the weather and seasons at the moment. I think all the news items about global warming, floating icebergs with stranded polar bears, flooding, storms etc has got into my head a bit!! This one is entitled ‘Spring Rising’.
