Commissions

Although I don’t do commissions as such, I’m happy to work with people on a piece of art just for them. My basic process is that we agree on a size and price, the customer shows me which of my works have inspired them to contact me and explains what they’re after. I usually make three pieces based on that outline and share the finished works with them. If there’s a piece they love from the three – great, deal done! If not and there are some manageable changes they’d like to one of the pieces, we do that.

Here’s recent feedback from a customer who had bought three small works from me and wanted a larger work to go with them – Much love to artist @cathsheard.bsky.social for the aroha that she put into these works. Her interpretation of our orchard helped me once again love a place that caused heartbreak due to Cyclone Gabrielle. She has bought the property to life. Forever grateful.
