Kasia Avery was talking about colour mixing today – this was fun and I ended up with something that feels substantially different to my normal layout, even if it looks quite similar.

Today we were inspired by #cjs organiser Nathalie Kalbach – I loved her video and enjoyed creating this page after watching it. This was about doing what *I* love, not what’s trendy or current or whatever…
Small note to self – when you are heat embossing the heat gun can make collaged elements bubble if you’re not careful 😉

Today’s artist, Marsha Valk, made me laugh with her project of Sole Picasso so I used her style (sort of) to recreate tonight’s dinner of lamb & chickpea casserole, which is now called Lamb Picassaro!

I love Birgit’s bright cheerful art so was excited to see her pop up as today’s artist. She made a tiny accordian book but, because I want to keep all of #cjs18 in my art journal I followed along on the page. I love the result and would use this idea for cardmaking.

Love this week’s quote, the colour was lime green – I decided not to use the image of jelly fish.
