Today’s artist is Andy Skinner. I used his theme, and one of his “recipes”, to make this layout with some of my fav Tim Holtz rubber stamps.

I took the bits that appealed to me for my art journal (loved it all, but not for my journal…) from Joe Rotella‘s video for the day and love the result. I could have worked outside of my journal for this one but, by keeping it in my journal, I have a record to refer back to so it’s more likely I’ll use the techniques again. This was great fun!

Today’s artist is Kae Pea from Rubbermoon – so exciting! She shared 3 different recipes and I picked the one that suited my mood today. I had fun with this, and will do it again.

Today’s artist is Julie Fei-Fan Balzer. Although her process is very similar to mine, her thinking around colour created a positive change for me. I’m really happy with what I made today.

Today’s artist was Rachel Greig from Darkroom Door. I love her work and, as my process is similar, this felt like affirmation to keep doing what I enjoy. So I did…but she reminded me to haul the Distress Stains out as I tend to reach for paint first.
