This week’s quote was about gratitude and the challenge was to use sheet music. I enjoyed using vibrant colours for this one – Dylusions paints, sheet music from a local second hand shop, Tim Holtz and StencilGirl stencils.

This week’s quote was from Julia Cameron, who wrote The artists way. The bonus challenge was to use a heart/s on the page. I suspect my heart was not quite what they were thinking of! I used a StencilGirl stencil, other stencils, Dylusions paint and Golden Fluid acrylics. In the bottom left you can see, under the red border, that I started stamping a different border but didn’t like it. I left it there because the joy is in the process of creation and the final page doesn’t have to be perfect…

This week’s quote was about art, and the challenge was to add a bird. This rooster appealed to me, and his red comb stood out well against the background, so I couldn’t resist. Dylusions and Dina Wakley paints, stencils, collage, gel medium.

This week’s quote was about beauty, and how our value is not in how we look. The extra challenge was to use flowers. I used Golden fluid acrylics, Dylusions paints, a range of stencils, a Fudeballpen and a photo. The journalling was quite personal, even by by standards, so I covered over it.
