Today’s artist is Kae Pea from Rubbermoon – so exciting! She shared 3 different recipes and I picked the one that suited my mood today. I had fun with this, and will do it again.

Today’s artist is Julie Fei-Fan Balzer. Although her process is very similar to mine, her thinking around colour created a positive change for me. I’m really happy with what I made today.

Today’s artist was Rachel Greig from Darkroom Door. I love her work and, as my process is similar, this felt like affirmation to keep doing what I enjoy. So I did…but she reminded me to haul the Distress Stains out as I tend to reach for paint first.

This week’s colour is blue, and the quote’s another good one. I used Distress paints, Dylusions paints, collaged papers, Graphik pens and stencils.

Today’s artist was Gwen Lafleur her recipe for making layered collage papers. I had a lightbulb moment watching her. I use scrap paper as I paint, to wipe my brushes & brayer etc, but throw it away once it’s got a bit of paint on it. If I kept going I’d end up with the lovely detailed under-papers I admire that other artist’s share. I knew it, but not in a lived way, if you know what I mean. I loved today’s play session; these are just some of the papers I made.
